Leadership Allegany! is a nine-month program designed to educate future leaders by helping to identify regional issues and gain a deeper understanding of the leadership structure within and beyond Mountain Maryland. The program begins in September with an orientation and concludes in June with graduation ceremonies. Each month class members identify and address pressing issues facing the county and deal with topics such as education, social services, economic development, local and state government, tourism, healthcare, and the enviornment. Steering Committee members meet monthly to plan and formulate topic days.
Leadership Allegany! is now accepting applications for the Class of 2014. Visit this link for full details and an application.
